In a random act of 'MEME', Tekashi 69 reacts to Lil Durk's verse on Drake's 'Laugh Now Cry Later' banger.
Tekashi 69 reacts to Lil Durk!
Ok, so you've probably seen Tekashi 69's (6ix9ine) reaction video and now think that we're absolutely mad. Sweet, it's fine, we can happily accept that LOL! On a serious level, leaving our childish demeanour behind, we've had Drake's latest music on repeat whilst picturing the king of all trollz, 6ix9ine, loosing his mind.
On the 14th August the "Certified Lover Boy", also known as Drake, released "Laugh Now Cry Later" featuring the "Watch Yo Homie" rapper, Lil Durk. As the song began to sink in, ourselves and others believed that Durk took a dig at the controversial "Trollz" artist.
"I'm in the trenches relax / Can you not play that lil' boy in the club, 'cause we do not listen to rats," Durk said on "Laugh Now Cry Later."
Lil Durk Addresses 6ix9ine "Rats" Lyrics
In the video below, and speaking to Power 106 about the "rats" line, Durk didn't necessarily confirm that the lyrics were targeted to the federal informant, real name Daniel Hernandez. Durk suggested that any musician that snitches fits the bill, regardless of who it is, and it's not limited to just one person. In response to a question by Teddy Mora and Melissa Rios, Durk said:
"Whoever make music and rat, I'm talking to you. It can be one person, two people, three people, I'm talking to your ass," Durk stressed.
He also added: "cause yo ass is not gettin' played in the club where I am." This comes after Durk dismissed the idea of working with the "Gooba" star to prevent looking over his shoulder, and let's face it, Mr 69's a walking target. For the record, we don't wish Mr 69 any harm.
Meanwhile, 6ix9ine's behaviour isn't doing him any favours as he continues to antagonise those who oppose him. The rapper recently visited the mural of the late Nipsey Hussle, born Ermias Joseph Asghedom, who was tragically gunned down by alleged "snitch," Eric Holder, outside his store Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles.
Fans and critics called out 6ix9ine after he referenced the deceased "Slauson Boy" rapper, and Pop Smoke, the New York lyricist sadly gunned down too, in Los Angeles. During a visit to Brooklyn, his old stomping ground, the rapper discussed his large security detail in an Instagram live stream.
"A lot of people wanna say, why are you always around a whole bunch of security?" 6ix9ine said. "Why is your favourite rapper dead right now with bullet holes in his face? F**k is you talking about?" he argued. The rapper then mentioned the slain artists in the same stream during a talk with DJ Akademiks, which in turn convinced fans that he was damning them. RIP to the fallen.
