The 'Bodak Yellow' rapper Cardi B shared several videos to her Instagram account showing the process and revealing of, three new piercings.
Cardi B's New Look
The 27-year-old "Please Me" artist Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, professionally known as Cardi B, has shared her latest editions of body art in the form of piercings. The rapper, who was supported by her hubby and one third of the Migos hip hop group, Offset, shared her "agony" and delight once completed.
With the "Bad and Boujee" rapper Offset by her side and holding her hand, Cardi B began to accept her imminent fate rather calmly, as the piercing professional prepared her for two dermal piercings however, her mood suddenly changed.
In addition, she got her "Labret" pierced, located below the bottom lip, and above the chin.
Do Dermal Piercings Hurt?
Gosh, we felt so terrible for laughing at someone else's pain, but Cardi B did those hilarious sounds effects - our excuse LOL! No seriously, based upon our research dermal piercings bloody hurt, and she got two in one session, below an existing one. She seemed more distressed when undergoing the Labret insertion.
We're not too sure about the order they came in, but Cardi B got the popular piercing commonly known as a Ashley piercing. According to Healthline, the pain endured from the procedure depends on one's tolerance, and is rated four on a scale of one to ten.
This isn't the recent upgrade Cardi B has had as of late, as the rapper amended one of her most distinguishable pieces of ink. Her very hard to miss multicoloured peacock print that engulfs her thigh, hip, and back received an significant upgrade courtesy of Jamie Schene, a prominent collaborator - tattoo artist - of hers.
"So after ten years I gave my peacock tattoo a makeover. This whole week I been takin hours of pain getting tatted. Thank you @jamie_schene" she said in the Instagram post that included the before, and after pictures - see it below.
In other Cardi B related news, the "Chandelier" singer and songwriter SIA, recently got into hot soup after mistaking Cardi B for Nicki Minaj. The Australian born, and phenomenally gifted musician apologised after a fan sent her a picture of Nicki Minaj, asking if she'd work with her.
Without a shadow of doubt, confused, and in response to the tweet, SIA replied "I love @iamcardib and although this isn't a collaboration, I would love to COLLAB with her any day!". To no one's surprise, the hashtag #SiaIsOverParty began to trend prompting the artist to respond.
"I totally misunderstood a tweet earlier that has resulted in me making a buffoon out of myself," she wrote. "Sorry @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib if you hear about it. Can I just like you both?" she concluded. Bless her, LOL, we genuinely think it was innocent.
