After teasing fans via Instagram and Twitter, Tekashi 69 (6ix9ine) releases the video for 'Trollz' featuring the Queen of Rap, Nicki Minaj.
Tekashi 6ix9ine's Trollz Ft Nicki Minaj
The "Gooba" rapper Tekashi 69 (6ix9ine), real name Daniel Hernandez, has released the highly anticipated video for "Trollz" featuring the "Anaconda" songstress, Nicki Minaj. Their collaboration, which took many by surprise, was announced via Instagram on the 10th June.
The video, released likely later than initially billed in respect to George Floyd, was shared on the 12th June, to the Google owned video platform YouTube.
Similarly to "Gooba", the video was vibrant and full of colours, along with twerking women. Nicki Minaj was seen twerking in a bubble bath, and at times licking on a giant lollipop. In what appears to be stars stuck on her nips - you know where LOL! - Nicki bounces "somewhat" exposed in a silver waist coat jacket, and at times without. You couldn't doubt her sexyness, no chance - we're kind of stans LOL!
6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj On Instagram Live
In a previous Instagram live stream before the release of the video, before Nicki Minaj joined the conversation, 6ix9ine began to spill the tea on what he believed were the "rap game's lies". The rapper, with a list at hand entailing the information he claimed "they don't want you to know", name dropped arch rival Meek Mill and the "Life Is Good" rapper Future, suggesting they were rats.
Unsurprisingly, 6ix9ine couldn't help himself from not referencing the "Gin and Juice" artist Snoop Dogg, as he continued to accuse the hip hop veteran of snitching on the Death Row founder Suge Knight.
When the Queen of Barbz finally tuned in, and when she asked 6ix9ine "First of all why you going crazy?" she abruptly, and sarcastically, silenced him after he began to consider Meek Mill the main subject. Both artists sent their condolences to George Floyd's family and all those affected by the murder.
The drama fuelled antagonist 6ix9ine - we have nothing against him for the record - has been frequently stressing, boasting, about his forthcoming album which still hasn't a name. The controversial artist has been in the spotlight since his release from federal custody, under the conditions of home detention.
Considering the gravity of 6ix9ine testifying against his former associates from the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods, 6ix9ine has been deemed "disreputable", after breaking the "code of silence" usually adopted by street gangs, and infamous organisations such as the Mafia.
Several hip hop artists including Snoop Dogg, have criticised him for his willingness to become a federal informant. Snoop Dogg also criticised media outlets for painting the 24-year-old in a positive light.
Since breaking the internet with the release of "Gooba", certain critics have suggested that 6ix9ine will "unlikely" partner with top tier artists. This circumstance will probably trigger them significantly, as 6ix9ine has proven to defy all odds, especially with collabs.
Without rubbing salt in open wounds, we'll stress that Nicki Minaj is an ex-girlfriend of Meek Mill, the Philadelphian rapper who despises 6ix9ine. Meek and Minaj haven't been on good terms since their split, and have had awkward confrontations making headlines.
The "Smack That" rapper Akon recently shared a clip of himself and 6ix9ine working on the sequel of his 2003 classic hit, "Locked Up". The remix, yet to be released, was met with backlash online and prompted a response from the track's originally featured artist, Styles P.
The "I Get High" lyricist said in a Twitter post: "My job is 2 remind you 2 boost the immune system n not get distracted by minor things i will always consider Akon a brother but we have not spoke or seen each other In years I don't know 6'9 meaning all 3 of our paths are different. I live by my code n don't hold others 2 my code" - [sic].
6ix9ine's still adamant that he was disregarded for the number one spot in regards to "Gooba", and recently challenged rappers to beat his numbers with the #TrollzChallenge. Could 6ix9ine break the internet again, and will he become number one on the Billboard Top 100 after his near miss? Regardless of the number one spot, we honestly think that the ball's in his court and he's currently winning.

Ayleks Exposes Tekashi 69 (6ix9ine)
In case you missed it, watch the model Ayleks expose 6ix9ine for lying about sleeping together. It's a funny revelation, however, he really hasn't taken a "L" (loss) after the video was released.
