The 'Hit Yo Dance' and 'Pretty MF' rapper Rubi Rose drops the bossette video for 'He In His Feelings', and increases her profile further in hip hop.
He In His Feelings For A Reason!
Rubi Rose, the 22-year-old "Pretty MF" rapper who recently cameoed in Cardi B's WAP video, releases the visual compliments for her latest single titled "He In His Feelings", and it demonstrates high levels of a Bossette (boss lady) - video below.
The Eritrean bombshell from Lexington, Kentucky, shared the Damien Sandoval directed video on the 12th August on YouTube, and it doesn't fall short of being sexy. The video, which is situated on the grounds of a Spanish inspired mansion, shows Rubi surrounded by multiple armed males, who appear to be subservient to the "Trickin" lyricist.
The rising star under the wing of HitCo, the label founded by music veteran L.A Reid, is seen holding a burning red rose in the opening scenes of the video. Rubi was wearing a low cut silver and grey dress, with silver hair to match, as well as a diamond encrusted neck choker with spikes, two rings and a bracelet.
The beauty, who is allegedly dating fellow rapper and YouTuber DDG, also wore an all black outfit in front of a black Rolls Royce. Rubi, who isn't in the business of emotionally tying herself to overly obsessed burdens, in the form of men LOL, drops lyrics to a hip hop beat with a Spanish guitar inspiration.
On the track produced by JayUncut and Yung Roamin, Rubi expresses herself dominantly on the topic of an overzealous boyfriend. The general idea of "He In His Feelings" can be seen in the accompanying cover art, which shows a series of text messages spanning days, from an obsessed prior-simp!
From a sender identified as "Boyfriend #4", the message reads: "Miss u. Like crazy. Can't even lie. SMH u want to be mean to me. I'm obsessed wit u." It then got a little tense when the "Rubi addict" professed his love saying: "Love you Rubi (Rose emoji). Forever. I'll kill u."
Although we're fans of the "Big Mouth" artist, and most certainly familiar with her ambitions, Rubi's still considered an up-and-coming potential. In our honest opinion, she's one of the most underrated artists that sadly receives a lot of scrutiny for her material. Similarly to the "Tap In" and "Icy Grl" songstress Saweetie, Rubi's considered an image and not a musician to some narrow minds.
Along with Cardi B who's clearly a fan of Rubi, Tanizzle doesn't align itself with such idiocy and supports her, as well as Saweetie, who hasn't caught a break from the haters. We can definitely envisage a bright future for Rubi, and her popularity should increase considering her WAP cameo. Fingers crossed, because we think that she's super dope, PERIODT!
