The Mancunian rapper Bugzy Malone who recently endured a horrific and life threatening crash on a quad bike, releases the highly anticipated third in trilogy, M.E.N III.
The Levels Just Went Up
Bugzy Malone, the 29-year-old rapper hailing from Manchester, England, releases the third instalment of his signature M.E.N series, M.E.N III. The artist and businessman, real name Aaron Davis, who was sadly involved in a horrific accident on a quad bike in March 2020, shared a touching post on Instagram, along with a new music video on the 6th August - video below.
Bugzy, who has proven to have great strength physically and mentally, for his graft in sport, music, and business, thanked his fans for supporting him after suffering from life threatening injuries. The rapper, who once said he was "lucky to be alive," was told by doctors and nurses that the survival rate for "blood clots", that passed through hearts was low.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the King of the North lyricist said: "From the minute I woke up on the hospital bed with nurses trying to explain to me that I had bleeding on the brain an all that, I knew deep down I would live to fight another day, I've survived through too much in life to just go out like that.
"I know alot of you have been worried about me and your messages of support have been a crucial part of me healing and feeling loved and I appreciate every single one of you for that, but the truth is 3 weeks after the accident I had a blood clot pass through my heart and from what doctors and nurses tell me not many people survive that."
He continued: "I found it difficult to update people on my recovery when it wasn't clear wether [sic] I was actually going to recover or not but I did and I'm very grateful to be alive and thankful to all those that prayed for me."
For their caring and supportive efforts, Bugzy thanked the nurses at Salford Royal Hospital, where he was recuperating: "Before the video drops tonight I also want to thank the nurses at Salford Royal Hospital not only did you save my life you actually cared about me and made me laugh on days I could barely even move."
He added: "I love my city and all of my supporters and represent to the best of my ability, when I was at my most vulnerable my city and all of my supporters loved me back and for that I'm forever grateful. It's true what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
Bugzy Malone The Natural Born Survivor
There's no holding back in M.E.N III, as Bugzy goes deep in documenting his hospital experiences, suicidal tendencies, and his mother's unfortunate drug use. The track is testament that Bugzy is the only one of his kind, especially when delivering lyrics in the "confessional" style, that not many artists could adopt.
The music video for M.E.N III depicts footage and pictures of the collision aftermath, including supportive tweets from fans and fellow celebrities. The hip hop and grime artist Chip, formerly known as Chipmunk, who once rivalled Bugzy in freestyle clashes, was among those who sent his well wishes.
Bugzy can be seen wearing all black everything, from a Gucci fisherman hat, to a Louis Vuitton waistcoat, and Fendi shoes. He also sported a very icy cold wrist, in the form of a diamond encrusted Cartier watch, and a stunning pinky ring to match.
We're glad that he made it through, and yes there's absolutely no doubt when saying: "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Not a lot of people have endured a bleeding to the brain, and lived to tell the story. Watch the video below, and why not visit Bugzy's Instagram to keep updated with the "Boxes Of Bush" artist.
