The drill empress Ivorian Doll has announced the approximate release date for her impending track, 'Body Bag' on social media.
Ivorian Doll's Body Bag
Casually strolling on the net, as you do, we found something that tickled our fancy and it's got us excited, proper. Who, what, and why you're probably asking? Well, it relates to one of the UK's finest lyrical talents, and Queen of Drill (QOD) Ivorian Doll (IVD).
The artist, who recently addressed Ivorian Doll rumours in the form of the "squash bullshit once and for all", drill intense bop Rumours, announced her impending track "Body Bag" on Twitter, and it's expected sometime in July 2020.
The 22-year-old, British and German born rapper, announced to her loyal base "Body bag out next month there I said it". This provoked us to like and retweet the news, as well as comment saying "We can't wait though". Trust us, we've been waiting for very, very long mate.
Our thoughts seemed to be appreciated by the star who subsequently liked, and retweeted our impatience LOL!
What can we expect? Considering the title of the forthcoming track, "Body Bag", we're anticipating something similar to "Rumours", but nothing like it's concept. A UK drill inspired, bass slide wonder that could have any ordinary Adam drop kick his nan - please don't, we're joking LOL!
On a serious note, "Body Bag" could likely address the haters putting them where they belong, the trash. Regardless of how it may sound, it's surely going to knock us off our feet like "Rumours" did, as that bop took us by surprise, PERIODT!
In case you missed it, Ivorian Doll's most prominent feature was courtesy of Simba's "Rover" Remix. The bop entailed our very own IVD, "Opp Thot" lyricist Poundz, and enabler of "French Kisses" ZieZie - give in and watch the video below.
The artist Simba, who began producing from the age of 14, gained maximum exposure after the original to "Rover" became a viral sensation on TikTok. The catchy anthem became a must include track as TikTokers - if that's what they're called - began using it for a dance challenge.
In relation to female artists, and the disproportionate undermining instances they face - online, music related etc. - opposed to male their counterparts, we'll continuously support her "will be to be heard". Not only is she dope, she represents the many who face similar circumstances, whilst using her platform to emphasise such issues - salute.
