Adele gives thanks to emergency first responders - essential workers - who have dedicated their lives to keep us safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adele Now
OMG! she's fabulous. The musician and mother of one Adele briefly resurfaced with an Instagram post appreciating first responders and essential workers who have been risking their lives.
The "Skyfall" songstress and prolific "tear enabler" - if you're like us in anyway shape or form! - wrote on IG as she celebrated her 32nd birthday (born 5th May 1988) wearing a dashing LBD (little black dress) - IG post below.
"Thank you for the birthday love," she told her 33.8 million IG followers, and "I hope you're all staying safe and sane during this crazy time."
Amid the uncertainty caused by the calamitous existence of COVID-19, Adele began to thank the amazing efforts of essential workers who have bravely serviced many.
"I'd like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels" - followed by a heart emoji.
As quick as she came, Adele was gone again after signing off with "2020 okay bye thanks x". Her final words gave us a reason to contemplate the album she hinted to at a friends wedding in February, expected for release in September.
Consequently with no surprise, Adele managed to break the internet as she quickly became the trending topic online - her posts aren't frequent. Most media outlets as well as users focused their attention on her weight loss, or the idea of a "glow up".
As much as we love and admire Adele for everything she is - she's one of our many Tanizzle Queens - we couldn't let the idea of a "weight loss transformation" over shadow the importance of her message, for which she acknowledged first responders and essentials workers.
