We explore whether it's possible for Natalia Kills to make a significant return to the music industry after killing her career on the New Zealand X Factor live.
How Is Natalia Kills Doing?
Ever since we asked "what happened to Natalia Kills" after she killed her career on the New Zealand X Factor, we can't seem to get her off our minds and there's good cause. The article receives dozens of daily traffic from Google indicating potential interest and our demographic statistics tell us that it's primarily from European users, aged between 20 and 30 years.
This article was written to establish what users are interested in pertinent to Natalia Kills and it wasn't written to undermine her. As the internet is continuously proving to be king for communications and entertainment, we can't exclude the idea of bored users finding her relevant due to the COVID-19 self isolation measures, nonetheless we'll attempt to spill the tea "again" on her recent endeavours for those concerned.
Natalia Kills Vs Teddy Sinclair
The British entertainer formally known as Teddy Natalia Noemi Sinclair has various aliases including Candy Rapper, Verbalicious, Natalia Cappuccini, Verse and the one she'll probably want you to forget Natalia Kills - she's professionally known as Teddy Sinclair to date. In this article we'll try our best without being repetitive to explain how Sinclair's likely going to be in your "ears" without you even knowing.
FYI we're not going to explain in depth how she caused detriment as we've done it here before - Natalia Kills 2020 - but thankfully, there's an informative video below courtesy of Nicki Swift for a quick recap.
Teddy Sinclair The Songwriter
Sinclair recently came to our attention after she posted from the official Cruel Youth Instagram account, thanking the streaming service Spotify for accumulating a playlist consisting of songs she has participated in - listen to the playlist WrittenByTeddySinclair.
We came to learn of 13 songs that all have Sinclair's signature influences - voice or writing skill - however, it doesn't include the Grammy nominated hit "Kiss It Better" by our queen Rihanna. There are many reasons circulating online for why this could be, but we've concluded that because of her various pen names the playlist couldn't entail additional material under alternative aliases.
Additionally, Sinclair has credits with Will.i.am notably from the Black Eyed Peas, LMFAO, Angel Haze and Madonna to name a few. For more information on her discography, awards and nominations, as well as writer credits we recommend visiting the Teddy Sinclair Wikipedia page.
Cruel Youth
There's a chance that the name Cruel Youth doesn't ring any alarm bells for you and it's probably due to poor marketing. The band was created after Sinclair and her husband Moon relocated to the United States after the 2015 X Factor drama. We're not too sure if the band were rubbing it in when deciding to join the label Disgrace Records, but it really does scream out "we don't give a f*ck" unsurprisingly from the pair LOL.
As Sinclair the lead vocalist of the trio, Cruel Youth is a three piece girl group with band members Tina Hanäé and Lauren Stockner. Their music can be found on Soundcloud and YouTube.
Their first EP release was +30mg entailing "Mr. Watson" a track that's been appreciated to a certain degree and of course disliked significantly. As with anything Sinclair does, there's always going to be an abundance of users commenting with variations of her famous "doppelganger" lines. With all honesty we definitely thought of the late great Amy Winehouse when listening to the "Mr. Watson" track and expected the comparison comments.
"sounds like Amy Winehouse, ladies and gents... a doppelganger" one user commented, clearly an indication that her past will unlikely be left where it should be. So you should know, Cruel Youth hasn't uploaded any new videos to YouTube since December 2018, and that was an audio track with no visuals for the track "Portrait Of A Female".
We won't hold back when saying we're fans of her music as she really is talented, but her big mouth and insensitive remarks towards the X Factor contestant Joe Irvine brought her down. Along with what we've disclosed in our initial article about her, there's very little we can discuss as she doesn't seem to be doing much, but there's still a level of interest surrounding her.
Based on our research and the time elapsed from the live incident, we think that she could make a comeback as a solo artist and gain new fans, "but" her return will be met with scrutiny undoubtedly. Having said that, we created a poll to find out what you think about Teddy Sinclair AKA Natalia Kills and invite you to engage below.
