Billionaire media mogul and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey took to Twitter to rebuke allegations pertinent to sex trafficking and paedophilia.
Oprah Winfrey Sex Trafficking Claims
Individuals spreading conspiracy theories concerning the entertainment mogul Oprah Winfrey and "sex trafficking", have compelled the Queen of Media to deny the claims in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Twitter.
The response from Oprah stems from "global sex trafficking" theories shared by Q Anon loyalists, stating that she had been arrested for participating in sexual abuse and paedophilia.
As insignificant as it sounds, the Q Anon movement also believes that the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is the biggest covert U.S. intelligence operation that the world has ever seen, for which they subsequently deny any information scientifically or medically suggested by sources deemed credible.
The philanthropist tweeted: "Just got a phone call that my name is trending" continuing "And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It's NOT TRUE. Haven't been raided, or arrested. Just sanitizing and self distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody" - [sic].
Q Anon devotees known for their alternative views on political and societal matters continued to disparage the mogul online, with some providing "proof of theory" pertinent to the deceased and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, as well as jailed Hollywood producer and pervert Harvey Weinstein.
Among the many, one user said: "We CHECKED the LIST of EPSTEIN ISLAND VISITORS, we EVEN CHECKED it TWICE, and GUESS WHAT, OPRAH WINFREY was a GUEST OF MR. EPSTEIN! [thinking face emoji] OPRAH, WOULD YOU LIKE to SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH US? #WETHEPEOPLE #QAnon #WWG1GWA" - [sic]. The tweet was accompanied with images of prominent names tied to Epstein activities.
You'd be fooled if you thought the outlandish claims were absorbed and accepted by everyone. In support of Winfrey one user wrote: "The fact that Oprah, a queen, has to lower herself to deny this trash is a shame on this generation and society at large. Y'all need Jesus. Also, how much drama do y' all need?! Literally the world is closed. Call your mothers and beg for forgiveness.", clearly not amused LOL.
The theory was propagated and reached a captive audience with the hashtag #OprahArrested that evidently attracted intrigue, including New York Magazine and HuffPost reporter Yashar Ali: "I can't believe Oprah had to even acknowledge the existence of a QaNon hoax. I get why she did though...smh" - [sic].
In a time of great concern especially with COVID-19 we'd expect sensibility and appropriateness, but no. Do you entertain such theories and is this likely the last time of trolling Oprah? Feel free to comment, share and join our fast growing community when you like Tanizzle on Facebook.
