The Digimod - Tanizzle's term for Digital Model - is no stranger to music as she has released several singles since her debut with "Not Mine", "You Should be Alone", "Money", "Sleeping In" and others. Miquela captioned the Instagram post for the "Speak Up" preview with: "Big tings soon come. #SpeakUp 3.12".
The song's available to pre-save, or pre-add depending on the streaming service you prefer like Spotify, Apple, and Deezer. The so called "Change-seeking robot with the drip" recently broke up with her boyfriend Nick, a human, and the split clearly hasn't got in the way of her ambitions even after feeling fragile.
When she's not taking pictures with someone beautiful like Gigi Hadid or Milly Bobby Brown she's likely being lined up for business, without a say, saved on a high-powered computer waiting to be manipulated. Sorry, we just had to be harsh as we sometimes forget that we're speaking of a CGI character, and this brings us back to reality LOL.
She recently posted a sponsored ad with Samsung relating to their Galaxy Z Flip, captioned: "New tunes coming soon. Zoom in on my @samsungmobile Galaxy Z Flip for the deets (there's a lil teaser in there for my #TeamGalaxy fam). Been walking around LA all day listening to the final mix and I'm finally ready to share it with you".
Lil Miquela's Controversies
Don't let her cute face fool you, as Miquela's no saint. In a vlog post last year in December she claimed to have been sexually assaulted. This can't happen as she's not human so her creators were criticised for using real "traumatic" circumstances for profit.
Her Calvin Klein endeavour also faced stick for a 30 second clip on YouTube - below - of Lil Miquela kissing Bella Hadid, prompting Emma Hope Allwood to say, "CK's ad borrows sexuality for clickbait, othering queerness as 'surreal' (and combining it with the added virtual human gimmick) as engagement-driving content," - [sic] for Dazed.
Irrespective of whether she can be shelved in order to end her career, she'll never "feel" the consequences of being cancelled like Natalia Kills. This opens the doors to controversies however, she can be tamed like the black beauty Shudu Gram a model we've discussed before.
Are you looking foward to her song, and will this wave of Digimods likely be around in 2021? Feel free to comment below, share, and like Tanizzle on Facebook.
