It's still somewhat hard to believe that one of the UK's much loved presenters Caroline Flack, took her own life on February 15th 2020 at her home in East London.
The beautiful and talented English radio, and television personality was found hanged in Stoke Newington, and her death was concluded as a suicide. Some hairdressers are now taking a stance, but it's unlikely to make an impact - watch the report video below.
Famous people, and fans alike have called for change related to the way celebrities are treated by the tabloid press prompting the #BeKind campaign, inspired by one of her social media posts.
We've learned that some hairdresser salons are now taking the step of "banning gossip magazines" to prevent negativity, especially those critical of the private lives of celebrities. Their intent's to shift or change the culture of giving into other people's lives however, they must have forgotten about their smartphones.
As much as we support the idea of people being kind to one another, this will unlikely change anything. The fact that gossip magazines have been around for years, and online assets that are conveniently accessible by users, it has become second nature to get a quick fix on matters that aren't our own.
The video report by Sky News almost makes you forget about technological advancements, and gossip ban's only positive outcome will be less recycling likely pleasing Greta Thunberg's movements.
