While some may be tempted to label it a diss track, categorizing Pardi's latest creation as such does a disservice to its artistry against his ex, Megan Thee Stallion.
Thee Person Sets The Record Straight!
As you probably know, the fiery exchange between Pardison "Pardi" Fontaine, 33, and Megan Thee Stallion, 28, continued to escalate, with Pardi hitting back hard in a newly released track titled "THEE PERSON." In response to Megan's recent single "Cobra," where she suggested Pardi had cheated on her, the "Backin' It Up" rapper doesn't mince words and effortlessly bodies the melanated baddie with astonishing verses.
In his latest track, Pardi addresses the allegations head-on, expressing regret for no longer tolerating what he refers to as Megan's lies and half-truths. He opens up about how he treated her like a queen while feeling like a clown in her circus. Pardi claims to have tried pulling Megan out of challenging situations, only to feel like she's attempting to drown him on purpose. "Sit down for a second, girl, you need to hear this," he said.
Continuing: "Be for real, you ain't even realistic. Got lipo then you started posting gym pics. The things that you're doing is sadistic," Pardi expressed, leaving us with one thought: ouch! If there's anybody who's going to loving this right now, it's probably Tory Lanez in his cell or Dj Akademiks streaming to his masses.
It's A Message, Not A Diss Track!
Calling it a "diss track" seems a little off for us considering it's personal turns (well written) with Pardi explicitly stating, "This ain't for Megan Thee Stallion, it's for Megan Thee person." He delves into his perception of Megan's character, describing her soul as "disgusting" and suggesting that, despite having everything, she still isn't happy. Pardi concludes the track by expressing a hope that the "Savage" hitmaker gets the help she needs.
Following the release of "THEE PERSON," listeners flooded the comment section of Pardi's YouTube video, expressing anticipation for the track and acknowledging the emotions and therapeutic elements present in the song. Some fans even praised the track for being hard-hitting yet respectful, acknowledging both sides of the story, something we applaud. One user said: "I'm very impressed with his ability to tell his truth without disrespecting her. This was masterful honestly."

Megan's Cobra Ignited This!
Megan Thee Stallion's recent single, "Cobra," had hinted at a tumultuous end to her relationship with Pardi. In the song, she described walking in on him cheating, adding a personal dimension to their public fallout. While Megan didn't explicitly name Pardi in the track, listeners were quick to connect the dots, leading to a social media storm as stans defended her.
We cant wait for Megan Thee Stallion's response to Pardi's latest diss... sorry, we meant, message! With both sides laying their emotions bare through their music and leaving fans on the edge of their seats, we're quick to stress that we're not against Megan Thee Stallion and have been supporting for a long time since the Tory drama. On this occasion Pardi wins, and we appreciate good music when we hear it. End!
