I swear, you couldn't make it up, but Ye (formerly Kanye West) has shared his appreciation for 'Jewish people again' after watching 21 Jump Street featuring Jonah Hill.
21 Jump Street Officially Ends Anti-Semitism, for Ye!
Kanye West, also known as Ye, has made headlines once again for his surprising change of heart regarding the Jewish community. Previously, the 45-year-old rapper had been labeled as an anti-Semite due to his controversial statements and beliefs. However, in a recent Instagram post, Ye revealed that he had a change of heart thanks to actor Jonah Hill, 39.
Ye stated that he was watching the 2012 movie "21 Jump Street" when he had his epiphany about the Jewish race after seeing Jonah Hill's performance in the film and it made him rethink his views on the community. Ye expressed that no one should take their anger out on one or two individuals and use that as a reason to hate "millions of innocent people".
Ye Appreciating Jewish People On Instagram
Even if Ye's words are honestly hard to swallow, it didn't stop the musical genius from saying: "Watching Jonah Hill in 21 jump street made me like Jewish people again. No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people."
The "Power" artist added, "No Christian can be labeled anti-Semite knowing Jesus is Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill. I love you." The Instagram post, which was met with 2,216,440 likes, received mixed-signals with some onlookers sceptical whilst others (perhaps fans), applauded the fashion designer.
"Thank you for ending antisemitism Jonah" one user said. In addition to another who added: "Does he even know how not cool this is". In other news, don't let this distract you from the fact that Adidas is still struggling to sell shelved Yeezys.

In conclusion, we hope that Ye's recent statements about the Jewish community and his newfound appreciation for them are a step in the right direction. Without jumping to his defence, while his past behavior was troubling, we must give him the opportunity to change and learn from his mistakes (although it's going to take a little more than just a post).
