After facing seismic humiliation at Old Trafford, Manchester United's Marcus Rashford has finally responded to the 'embarrassing' defeat, that fans 'didn't deserve'.
Marcus Rashford Responds To Liverpool Defeat
Firstly, know the levels: Tanizzle is red (Manchester United fans) and proud. We're not going to beat around the bush and pretend that our 5-0 defeat to Liverpool F.C at home was an experience to "take on the chin". Irrespective of talent, it was embarrassing and it shouldn't have happened.
Our favourite number 10, Marcus Rashford MBE, 23, took to social media to explain his deafening silence after Sunday's disastrous game, which saw Mohamed Salah, 29 - let's not front, he deserves his flowers (accolades) - net a hat-trick, as well as goals from Keita, 26, and Jota, 24, early in the game.
What Did Marcus Rashford Say?
Taking to Twitter, the England forward said: "I can't lie you haven't heard from me on here because as a United fan I didn't really know what to say after Sunday."
He continued: "I was embarrassed. I am embarrassed. Our fans are everything and you didn't deserve that. We're working hard to try and fix this. We have to redeem ourselves."
What Do We Think?
Here's our verdict: thank you for your response Mr Rashford, we truly understand BUT - and it's a big "but" - in order to "try and fix this," we think it's time for new management, and something "seriously" needs to be done to our midfield. Sincerely, everyone XOX.
