In our modern 21st century, it's no longer a surprise to learn that couples are watching porn together, but when it's one-sided, is it healthy for a relationship? Stormi Maya had us thinking.
Is Watching Porn Cheating On Your Partner?
First things first, the answer is no, watching pornography isn't physically cheating, however, if a partner's oblivious of one's "private" screen time activities, then there's no harm in being apprehensive or uncomfortable - especially when you catch them beating their meat!
Quickly gaining our attention, the gorgeous entertainer and model, Stormi Maya, 26, shared a thought provoking post on Instagram, in which she found it "weird" that "people get jealous of their partner watching [porn] videos for pleasure." We can imagine many cheers and applauds at this point, but seriously, there's no right answer.
Is A Porn Pass A Problem?
Perhaps to some, Stormi Maya sounds like the ideal partner, but here's a well known fact: we're all different. Her liberality indicates confidence and patience, in which, to us, comes as no surprise (as admirers of the tantalising baddie), who continously attracts our awareness with her endearing appeal.
What shouldn't be surprising, is the thought of a "porn pass" consequently causing jealously, insecurities, and an illimitable amount of unwanted feelings that nobody in their right mind would want to endure; and that's the tip of the iceberg, if you take into account the questions they'll likely start asking themselves: "am I not enough?"
Among other things, relationships generally entail adoration, the unequivocal notion of "commitment" with a strict adherence to look "no further" than what is considered BAE (significant other). The "if it's on a screen, let him shoot his beam" type of attitude's a tolerance for the ambiguous, something we honestly call an art, not perfected by or recommended for the faint-hearted.
Imagine your boyfriend happily filtering porn categories like "thicc ebony", "girls with tattoos", or "sexy cheerleaders", and you happen to be a caucasian ginger-haired woman with unostentatious skin (no tattoos) from Ireland, without a cheerleading spirit, wouldn't this indicate a fetish towards others who look, and behave, nothing like you?
Here, insecurities are justified.
If The Tables Turned: Girls Watching Porn
Instinctly, we wrote this article as if men only watch porn and "jack the hammer" to delight themselves! Based on a countless amount of studies, men are more likely than women to view pornography, but we couldn't refrain from giving the lads some food for thought with a scenario to swallow.
Here goes: visualise your return from a pub, exhausted but not drunk, to hear your girlfriend moaning and groaning. You then run towards your bedroom whilst feeling your heart thump at an alarming rate, as your eyes begin to glaze at the thought of your Julie having her back blown out by a man, with a Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson type of body - LMAO!
You then take one deep breath before barging through the door. With your jaw now at your feet, you begin to realise that you didn't catch Phil, Ben, or Mitchell smashing the box. Instead, what caught your eye, was the stereotypically irregular black dildo protruding from her lady bits. Fellas, be honest, what do you think?
Hurt Isn't An One-Sided Affair
Let's be honest, we can imagine hypermasculinity kicking in like it was some kind of drug, to avoid being bothered by a silicone sex toy. But deep down inside, whether or not he'll have the balls to admit it, that throbbing "pleasure-mate" could be considered a threat; with it's battery powered existence and 24-hour erect appearance LOL!
All jokes aside, we can't judge anyone for their desired pleasures, but we do think that porn in relationships could lead to "sexual dissatisfaction", if, there hasn't been a formal discussion about the subject.
Not only that, porn permeates unrealistic expectations; a burden for the less mature (the impressionable young) who shouldn't be exposed to such material, who are then later coerced into unsatisfactory actions - actions perhaps considered cool or trendy, but in reality, it's demoralising.
For the record, Tanizzle isn't against porn and supports the sex industry.
Last, But Not Least!
Stormi Maya is a talented entertainer and model with a potent social media presence. Her content may be stimulating (seductive) at times, but it's her undeniable charm and defiance that inevitably won us over. In other words, Tanizzle loves Stormi Maya, and wasn't criticising her point-of-view. She inspires us so much.
Lastly, same-sex relationships are no different. Please take no offence, as this article was written in a rather heterosexual light. We love everyone here XOX.
