Dance, and entertainment royalty Parris Goebel professionally known as Parri$'s set to direct 'Murder On The Dance Floor', an adaption of her street-based-dance production hit.
The Polyswagg Dance Queen
Parris Goebel one of the world's best dancers for which's evident to declare, is set to direct a big screen adaption of her acclaimed street-dance production Murder on the Dance Floor.
The Kiwi dance phenomenon professionally known as Parri$, revealed on Friday night that she's collaborating with both Sony and Columbia Pictures to choreograph, and direct her vision marking her feature film directorial debut - see Instagram post below.
Shaping Pop Music
Parri$ known for her trend-setting Polyswagg dance style isn't falling short of "creative influence", as she continues to deliver breathtaking performances like the most recent Justin Bieber inspired Parris Goebel Yummy Dancers video.
The video did stir some controversy as it was removed by YouTube, and internet rumours suggested that Bieb's management had it removed namely Scooter Braun. Thankfully it was later restored, and the rumours were squashed prompting a post by Parri$ saying "YUMMY… WE'RE BACK Thank you @justinbieber" on Instagram.
The 28 year old's intent to re-adjust the "levels" in pop culture hasn't gone unnoticed, as she was recently made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) in the New Year Honours List. With 8 billion views to date, there's no doubt that Justin Bieber's "Sorry" video's one of her best works increasing her demand to create.
Other associations include artists from the K-Pop scene, rap and hip hop, and Rihanna - she needs to be singled out, as it's Bad Gal RiRi for whom we love!
The Big Screen
Murder on the Dance Floor will be produced by Marc Platt Productions, and the screenplay will be written by Elyse Hollander. Hollander's works include "Blonde Ambition", and "Queens of the Stoned Age" and she's represented by Belluvue Productions.
With notable nominations for Best Picture in 2016 for Bridge of Spies and 2017's La La Land, Marc Platt has a considerable amount of experience under his belt. The producer isn't unknown to the musical realm neither, as he has overseen productions for "Into the Woods", and Disney's "Mary Poppins Returns".
The content's yet to be released later this year, and we can't wait for the "highly anticipated" dance epic. What do you think? Leave your views in the comments section below, and don't forget to like and share.
