The Queen Bee, Beyoncé, has detailed the pressures of being a pop icon as she 'fought to protect' her sanity and privacy, in an in-depth interview with Harper's Bazaar.
Her Majesty, Queen Beyoncé Is Coming!
Without a doubt, and to no one's surprise, the majestic inspiration that is, Beyoncé, 39, looked absolutely stunning on the cover of September's issue of Harper's Bazaar.
The mother of three, also known as Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, spoke of creating boundaries dividing her personal and public life - saying it was "easy to lose yourself" in an industry that could "take your spirit and light, then spit you out."
The icon, who has been a big deal ever since Destiny's Child blew up in the '90s, said she "felt the pressure from the outside and their eyes watching for me to trip or fail," as well as saying: "I wanted to break all of the stereotypes of the Black superstar,
"whether falling victim to drugs or alcohol or the absurd misconception that Black women were angry."
When the mother of Blue Ivy, 9, and four-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, was asked how she adapted to "the changing world of celebrity culture" and, how she protects her inner self, she replied:
"We live in a world with few boundaries and a lot of access. There are so many internet therapists, comment critics, and experts with no expertise. Our reality can be warped because it's based on a personalized algorithm. It shows us whatever truths we are searching for, and that's dangerous."
She added: "We can create our own false reality when we're not fed a balance of what's truly going on in the world. It's easy to forget that there's still so much to discover outside of our phones."
When Is Beyoncé Releasing Music?
Although she hasn't announced an official date, Beyoncé has been in the studio for a year and a half creating music; as well as meticulously selecting the right sounds for future projects - something we'd expect from a star of her calibre, opposed to rushing material to ride music trends.
Astonishingly, within her interview with Harper's Bazaar, Beyoncé said that "one chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies." This is quite outstanding, however, it isn't surprising for us to accept her work efforts, as she's bloody phenomenal at what she does.
Meanwhile, Ivy Park x Adidas Goes Rodeo!
With her ever expanding company, Parkwood Entertainment, evolving progressively as a media conglomerate with a fashion line, IVY PARK, beside it, Beyoncé isn't refraining from producing her vision for athletic wear with a difference.
The gorgeous beauty, along with the sportswear giant Adidas, have dropped an awe-inspiring trailer for the IVY PARK Rodeo collection, a forthcoming fashion campaign "inspired by the inimitable style and undeniable influence of Black cowboys and cowgirls."
