Everybody's favourite bad gal, the 'Diamonds' singer, Rihanna, has officially been declared as a billionaire by Forbes; making her the world's richest female musician.
Rihanna Officially Joins The Billionaire's Club!
Yes Riri, you continue to make us proud! Our favourite singer, songwriter, actress, and businesswoman, Rihanna, 33, has officially joined the billionaire's club, according to Forbes.
The Barbadian beauty, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has amassed an impressive $1.7 billion (USD) fortune, with the majority of her wealth ($1.4 billion) coming from her industry changing, Fenty Beauty, cosmetics line.
How Much Is Rihanna's Net Worth?
Determined by Forbes in August 2021, Rihanna's net worth is an estimated $1.7 billion (USD). Although she's widely known from her remarkable entertainment efforts, Rihanna's mouth-watering wealth comes from her 50% stake in Fenty Beauty - clarified by Forbes.
The rest of her GWOP (George Washington On Paper AKA money) lies in her stake in the diverse lingerie company, Savage X Fenty, said to be worth an estimated $270 million, with her remaining earnings coming from her successful career as a musician and actress.
Second to Oprah as the world's richest female entertainer, Rihanna will likely join the 328 women - 87 more from last year (see the story) - on the next reveal of Forbe's Billionaires list, who are collectively worth a whopping $1.53 trillion (USD).
Meanwhile, Fenty's First Eau de Parfum
What does Rihanna smell like? If this is something you've been asking yourself for a while now, rest assured, because Rihanna's Fenty empire is set to release their first eau de parfum, on August 10th - via their official website.
At the cost of $120 a bottle, fans could get a taste of Rihanna's ideal fragrance described as "simple in terms of construction, with fantastic ingredients," according to the master perfumer for Louis Vuitton, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud - who directly worked with Rihanna on the scent.
The scent, which is inspired by Rihanna's favourite places including Bridgetown, Barbados; Paris, and New York, to name a few, is a representation of "all genders from across all walks of life" and, the bottle being brown, is Rihanna's favourite colour - and who she is.
During a press release, the beauty said: "Brown is who I am. Brown is what I come from. If I'm going to make a fragrance that represents me, even the body language of the bottle needs to marry that."
