The model, Aliika Cleopatra, who was accused by the West London rapper, Fredo, of stealing £4,000 from a video shoot featuring Central Cee, has categorically denied his claims.
Aliika Cleopatra Responds To Fredo
Against the backdrop of a calm and soothing composition, the model recently accused of stealing £4,000 from the "Back to Basics" rapper, Fredo, at a video shoot, has responded with her account of what allegedly occurred.
The beauty, Aliika Cleopatra, took to social media to profess her innocence after Fredo tried to "slate her" with theft accusations, for which she was said to have stuffed thousands of pounds down her leggings whilst filming the video for "Meant to Be".
According to Fredo - read our initial article for a quick recap - all models where under the watchful eye of his associates who were tasked with monitoring the "real money" used as props, in the event of opportunists succumbing to temptation (stealing).
In the midst of handing out large quantities of cash to the participating models, Aliika was allegedly seen heading to the toilet with a bulge in her lower garments.
It was then she was called out and confronted for her alleged attempt at stealing, and began making a scene according to the "Burner on Deck" rapper.
What Did Aliika Say?
In a newly released video shared on social media, well composed and speaking articulately, Aliika could be seen expressing her views (and her account) of his accusations in order to "get it out of the way", because the "the social media BS" wasn't for her.
After explaining her industry experiences, especially concerning her "good reputation" without any incidences, Aliika said that models were told to pick up cash from the floor for another "money scene" take.
Doing as she was told, she began stacking up money by placing it in her hands, to the side, and within her waist band. She then went on to explain her intentions for placing the money by her waist, even when the act could have been "suspicious to some".
"We're throwing the money in the next scene, when I run out of money in my hands, instead of having to pick it up from the floor or on the sides, I can go into my waist band and carry on," she said.
On her way to the toilet, she was then confronted by a man who claimed she was stealing. Taking offence, she threw the money from her waist band into the air and laughed at his ideas.
After allegedly being called a "b*tch" by Central Cee, her manager was called and informed of their accusations. Aliika remained adamant that she was "set up" and "bullied", and wasn't "stupid" to parade around others with three-to-four grand down her trousers as they claimed.
Fake Money vs Real Money
If we're to agree on anything Aliika said, Fredo (and others) should refrain from using real currencies during filming. Yes we know he's a baller, and fake money doesn't seem appropriate to such a star, but such actions could lead to dangerous situations let alone theft.
Furthermore, upon learning of this drama, we were perplexed to understand that real money was used, and thought, why. Perhaps all parties have learned a lesson from this and will prevent such "avoidable" instances from happening again.
On that note, if Aliika happens to be innocent (in fact, irrespective of what they believed) and those men thought it was OK to converge upon her the way she claimed, shame on them. No offence, but we, like many, honestly think that Aliika could do much better. Please #BeKind.
