Fast fashion's Fashion Nova sets pulses racing with an image deemed 'highly provocative' of a model revealing her assets.
Fashion Nova, Marketing is Marketing, Right?
We don't think it's a big deal but some of the internet does LOL! Every now again, Tanizzle scrolls through its Instagram feed to see what the world has been sharing.
As usual, our feed's generally filled with celebrities, many, many beautiful faces, and a vast amount of fashionable influencers (like Lala Baptiste) endorsing someone else's hustle.
Nothing seemed unusual until we noticed an image reshared by the American fast fashion titan, Fashion Nova, who has amassed a whopping 19.7 million followers.
In the Instagram post, looking bang tidy, was a beautiful blonde female possibly named Madeline Mercedes, who happended to be wearing a Sophia satin matching set in pearl.
At this point, you're probably thinking, "this doesn't seem odd", and yes we agree, however, two images inparticular were deemed provocative for some eyes.
Mercedes, who could be seen standing in an empty field holding plants, donned a stunning open back outfit with bungee straps and a line mini skirt.
Slightly different from the poses struck by such models, the bombshell was seen lifting her - "already mini" - skirt, exposing her derrière.
The fashion giant captioned the post saying: "Like If You Are Mentally Here 🔥 Search: "Sophia Satin Matching Set" Tag your fire 'fit with @FashionNova #FashionNova and you might get featured on our page like @madelinemercedes!"
Unless we're biasly favouring Fashion Nova's marketing - we're guilty as charged - it did the trick, especially in the comments, as consumers wanted more of the outfit.
Then there was the sarcastic banter, with one user saying: "Fashion Nova if y'all want us to be pornstars just say that," followed by two stressed face emojis.
In order to cater to her farms animals, another user said, "I need to get this fit so I can wear it while feeding the deer in the field."
But as expected, some viewers didn't understand "why a model gotta pose like that to sell a dress", whilst another chimmed in with:
"I would love to see the dress and not the butt thank you very much."
Fast Fashion's Sexy Hashtag Babes
There's no doubt that Fast fashion is a dominant force. And with the help of social media influencers happily taking selfies and enduring try-on-hauls, they seem to be receiving a lot of free marketing - in most cases - with the aide of a simple hashtag (#NovaBabe) and @ mention.
We don't know whether Mercedes was paid for her endorsement but we wouldn't be surprised, considering the vast amounts of "FashionNovaPartner" references we came across, and her impressive 887k followers to enthral.
Please don't hold it against us but we don't think that the images were commissioned by Fashion Nova. Relax, she's a #NovaBabe, it's a thing LOL!
