Two of the UK's finest lyrical artists, Bugzy Malone and Chip, deliver a no-bullshit partnership, going hard on Malone's new single, 'Notorious'.
Just What 2021 Needed: A Bugzy Malone and Chip Collaboration
What do you get when you combine one of the hardest rappers from Manchester on a track with a lyric demon from London? Obviously, Bugzy Malone's new "Notorious" single featuring Chip.
Bugzy Malone (Aaron Davies), 30, collaborated with the "Flowers" artist, Chip (Jahmaal Noel Fyffe), on the track prepared to feature on Malone's forthcoming album, "The Resurrection".
The duo, who were infamously at each others necks, by a way of "sending" (lyrical disses) for each other, made amends in 2017; they were pictured together on Instagram.
In the video for "Notorious", Bugzy Malone can be seen with Chip surrounded by beautiful women; all the while looking "baller" (luxurious), as the pair went back-to-back on the beat.
"Setting a pace they can't follow, anything they say from now will sound hollow," Bugzy Malone said before Chip chimed in with, "I was on the television before there was a flat screen," a message for the critics and trolls who love to mention him.
Bugzy Malone, who said he was "lucky to be alive" after enduring a traumatic (near-fatal) motorbike crash last year, later expressed his gratitude for life, by returning to the booth for "M.E.N III", "Doe'd Up", and "Don't Cry" (featuring Dermot Kennedy), the song that intimately documented his accident.
What could be next for Bugzy Malone? The gift that kept on giving is set to release his album, "The Resurrection", on February 12th. Enjoy.
