The bombshell model and social media influencer, Lala Baptiste, got emotional on Twitter amid the arrest of her rapper boyfriend, Lil Tjay.
Lala Baptiste Entered The New Year Without Lil Tjay
Several days after successfully launching her first womenswear assembly, under her Nyela Collection brand, Lala Baptiste, 21, entered the new year without her boyfriend, Lil Tjay.
The influencer, who has amassed a million followers on Instagram, seems to be feeling the "stresses" of having a partner who could potentially spend several years behind bars.
The "Hold On" rapper, Tione Jayden Merritt, professionally known as Lil Tjay, was arrested a day before new year's eve, following a witch hunt by the NYPD (NYPD Field Intelligence).
Lil Tjay, who recently featured on the late Pop Smoke's "Mood Swings" (Lala appeared in the video as his interest), was stopped by police four days prior, however, nothing was found by them.
Why Did Police Stop and Arrest Lil Tjay?
Supposedly, the vehicle entailing Lil Tjay failed to signal whilst swicthing lanes. A source told TMZ that the "five-oh" smelt weed during the stop, later resulting in a search.
All four vehicle occupants excused police findings, which included a large amount of marijuana and four loaded firearms. Although it's evidently understood why, all four men were booked for possession charges, no one seems to understand why the grand lacerny charge was included.
Meanwhile, Lala took to Twitter to share her anguish with emojis and textual tweets relating to her health, with some reportedly deleted. Shortly after sharing emojis featuring a face with love hearts and prayer hands, Lala said:
"Damn bro I'm just dropping weight like nothing. Shits crazy!" and "No working out just stress."
Well there's no doubt that Lil Tjay is facing very, very serious charges, and we wouldn't be surprised to learn that he received a lengthy bird (sentence) in the near future.
Will she hold him down? We possibly couldn't tell you that but we have been reading certain comments online, specifically by users on YouTube that indicate she wouldn't be able to - does she have to?
Regardless of his outcome, Lala should primarily focus on her hustle as she has been over years. Whether her focus targets the fashion industry or her influencing efforts, she has so much potential to be held back by such circumstances.
We think she'll manage just fine and we hope she does, as Tanizzle is a fan her ambitions.
