Drake releases a new single titled 'Laugh Now Cry Later' with Lil Durk, and the video features cameos from star-stud athletes, including the gorgeous model Aggy Abby.
Drake The Hustler And Certified Lover Boy!
Staying true to his promise of delivering music at midnight, 14th August, Aubrey Graham, professionally known as Drake, unveils a new single featuring Lil Durk called "Laugh Now Cry Later."
The video, which looks like a highly endorsed Nike advert, was filmed on the sports giant's iconic Beaverton, Oregon headquarters (HQ), and features cameos from it's celebrity endorsers including, Odell Beckham Jr (OBJ) and Kevin Durant.
The video begins with the 33-year-old "Toosie Slide" rapper driving up to Nike HQ in a luxury car, accompanied by the beautiful model Aggy Abby. Drake appeared to be wearing an exclusive unidentifiable pair of white sneakers, undoubtedly by Nike, as he stepped out of the mouth-watering Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept car.
The clips, which will likely produce dozens of memes for the internet, shows Drake playing a game of 1 on 1 basketball with Kevin Durant, playing football with OBJ, and hilariously getting tackled by Marshawn Terrell Lynch. In one skit, whilst profusely crying, Drake can be seen wiping his tears in an act of machismo, after being startled by the comedian Druski who asks him "what are you doing, wait, are you straight?"
Drake then gave viewers a glimpse of the Nike company store, the same outlet considered legendary, and exclusively for employees and associates of the brand, with prices discounted for it's privileged consumers.
Lil Durk and Drake appear together for a photo shoot in the style of traditional NBA draft portraits. In fact, Drake may have taken inspiration from Lebron James' 2003 draft suit, in all white, for his time at the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also pays homage by imitating "the Greatest" and late boxer, Muhammad Ali, for his famous underwater picture from 1961.
Without adding fuel to any fires that may be alight, when Lil Durk said, "I'm in the trenches relax / Can you not play that lil boy in the club cause we do not listen to rats," we immediately thought of the "Trollz" artist, Tekashi 69 (6ix9ine). Are we wrong for this? Well, he has been sending shots towards Lil Durk ROFL!
Not only is Drake an extremely talented individual, his will to explore and venture into all things new or existing allows his creativity levels to peak, on scales that only he has reached. What on earth does this mean? Well, he's phenomenally gifted, and he's also not afraid to poke fun at himself, which was blatant to see in the video.
For all you sneaker heads, although Drake and Nike haven't confirmed a sneaker collaboration, rumour has it that an Air Force One x OVO will appear in early 2021.
What Is The Name of Drake's New Album 2020
After sharing his single "Laugh Now Cry Later" featuring Lil Durk on August 14th, the Canadian born rapper Drake took to social media to confirm the name of his forthcoming studio album, titled "Certified Lover Boy." As of now, there's no verified tracklist for the album however, the first single from "Certified Lover Boy" is "Laugh Now Cry Later."
In a series of behind the scenes photos posted to his Instagram account, Drake captioned posts with "CLB," sending fans into chaos. As the internet does, rumours began spreading that rapper was allegedly dropping the album on the same date, but no confirmation has come from those officially concerned.
